About Media and Communications Projects

without comments

The Media and Communications department at Swinburne University combines innovative teaching and research with practical industry experience. We believe a ‘real world’ learning environment produces successful professional outcomes for both graduates and subsequent employers. Many of our students undertake volunteer work, voluntary industry placements and projects for both the commercial and not for profit sector. These partnership have been and continue to be rewarding for all involved.

Frances Green, from ABC Innovation writes:

Swinburne Media and Communications continues to liaise on a regular basis with ABC Innovation (formerly ABC New Media & Digital Services) regarding student placements and media-related projects. This work has culminated in successful and innovative learning initiatives for both the ABC and Swinburne scholars.

Andrew Mahar, founder and director of Infoxchange Australia says:

[M&C] and Infoxchange Australia have had a professional relationship for over 10 years which has been very successful and significant.  This relationship has delivered benefits to both Infoxchange and the students under Lisa Gye’s guidance through Infoxchange providing work placements for Swinburne students and Swinburne providing quality graduates that Infoxchange has employed.  In fact the General Manager of Infoxchange Australia is one of M&C’s graduates…. I believe the relationship between M&C and Infoxchange has delivered benefits to both Swinburne University and Infoxchange.
