When Ellie Won was deciding what to do for a Media Project five years ago, she combined two of her favourite activities – food and photography – and came up with the evocatively titled Kitchen Wench blog. From those raw (pardon the pun) beginnings, the site has grown into a must visit for anyone interested in learning more about both of these popular crafts.
Kitchen Wench now has over 1,000 Facebook fans and Ellie’s recipes and photographs have been featured in publications from all over the world. Perth’s Sunday Times described it as the ‘best food blog you will find on the net’.
As a result of this success, Ellie has been invited to contribute a column to new food mag, The Gourmet Kitchen. We’ll keep you posted on this development!
