After Michael Sarlo finished his VCE, he enrolled in a Bachelor of Design at RMIT University and Diploma of Japanese at Monash University. Michael’s combined interest in Asian culture, various genres of music and radio production led him to join SYN FM where he  has been hosting a Japanese pop show (J Pop Show) on SYN’s Asian Pop Night for the last three years. He has also worked as a segment producer for SBS Alchemy’s Asian Pop Show. As of 2010, Michael is studying a Bachelor of Communication: Media and is now SYN’s Asian Pop Night Executive Producer.
